byTicks collects various personal data (or categories thereof) via the Website, platforms and events. byTicks collects personal data (or categories thereof) acquired through:

• Contact and account data supplied by you (such as name, e-mail address, customer number, date of birth and gender)
• Your IP address and geolocations
• Data published by you (such as messages placed on our Website or on social media sites)
• Your taste in music on the basis of your favourite performing artists as selected by you and/or previously ordered tickets
• The automatic ticket systems used during events

Purposes of Processing

byTicks uses personal data for the following purposes:

• In performance of its services with respect to the organization of events and festivals, including safety monitoring during events
• In performance of an agreement including the enforcement of the general terms and conditions of byTicks
• For the administration of its customer records
• For marketing purposes, such as providing targeted information on offers, events and festivals organized by or on the instruction of byTicks, for example, via mailings by e-mail or by mobile telephone (SMS/MMS messages) or by ordinary mail
• For improvement of its services (e.g. via questionnaires)
• To register data of visitors of (parts of) its Website
• In performance of market research and data analysis whereby byTicks may also enrich the data with other data
• To improve and secure the Website
• To make recordings during events (for commercial use but only after permission) which permission is obtained through the purchase of a ticket and the attendance of an event by means of the General Terms and Conditions Admission Tickets for Attendees and the House Rules for Attendees

Your data will not be used for purposes other than the purposes referred to above.

Sharing Personal Data with Third Parties

We are entitled to share your data with companies affiliated to byTicks and with parties that we engage in the performance of our services, as explained above. We do not provide data to third parties save for those referred to above, unless we are required to do so by law. byTicks will not, other than in the cases referred to above, provide personal data to parties in other countries.

Third Parties

byTicks uses third parties (processors) for the execution of its services. These third parties work exclusively on the instructions of byTicks. This Privacy Statement is also applicable to the data that is collected via the Website of these third parties when acting as processor for byTicks. These parties are referred to in this Privacy Statement as 'Third Parties'.

Retention Periods

byTicks retains your personal data as long as this is necessary for the execution of the purpose for which we have collected it. We retain your personal data for a maximum of 10 years from the time of the last interaction with you. In some cases it is possible that we will retain your personal data for a longer period because of a statutory obligation that we are obliged to comply with.

You are always entitled to request your data and if necessary to change (or have it changed) or delete your data. This can be done in two ways. First you can change your account at our ticket partner yourself, second you contact us via info@byticks.com.
