Guest lists that go through the same scan
A guest list in byTicks is a set of free tickets you send by email. Send unlimited guest lists to artists, press or sponsors, and every guest goes through the same scan as everyone else.
Send Free Tickets
Send a guest list in one go
Open the event, click Send Free Tickets and add your guests: type an email, paste a list or import a CSV. Send as many lists as you like. The tickets go out by email right away.
- A guest can get more than one ticket, for their plus-ones
- Change the Ticket Name per list, such as VIP Invite or Press
- On a seated event, pick a seat per ticket
- Managers can send guest lists too, without seeing your revenue
The ticket
Every guest gets a real ticket
Guests get the same PDF ticket with its own QR code as your buyers. Print a Ticket Price on it if you like, such as € 20.00. Nobody pays it, and it never counts as revenue.
- Pick the ticket design for each list
- Lost the email? Click Resend Ticket on the order
- Every guest is in Orders, marked Free
At the door
Guests go through the same scan as everyone else
No separate list at the door. A guest shows the QR code and your team scans it with the byTicks scanner app, like every other ticket.
- Green means let them in, whatever the ticket
- A second scan of the same ticket shows Already scanned
- QR code will not scan? Search by ticket code or email
In your numbers
Guests count at the door, not in your revenue
Guest tickets show up in your check-ins per ticket type, so you know who is inside. Your earnings stay clean: the order is Free and its total is € 0.
- The Free Tickets widget shows how many you gave out
- Ticket Downloads shows Free / guest list on its own line
- The report after the event shows how many free ticket holders showed up
- Email them later: tick Also send to guest-list and free-ticket contacts
